Application

The use of the yidao Post Tensioning System allows a predetermined deformation of the construction elements to be defined. The prestressing of thread bars in an element compresses the concrete and prevents concrete cracking when the load is introduced.
 

Prestressing also enables a reduction in size of the structural elements and increases the load bearing capacity in comparison with conventionally reinforced structural elements.
 

The main areas of application for the thread bars for
post-tensioning are longitudinal and transverse tendons,prestressing of walls and columns
and the use of short tendons for reconstruction as well as for shear reinforcement.
